Hi, I'm Stacey
A certified sleep consultant, mum, and experienced educator with a deep
passion for supporting children and their families.
My journey into sleep consulting began with my own experience of early
motherhood. For the first nine weeks, my baby would only sleep on top of
me. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and felt incredibly alone. Later, with
my second child, sleep continued to be a challenge in a different way —
he slept in my bed for four years. I truly understand how easy it is to
fall into patterns that feel impossible to change, especially when
you're simply trying to get through each day (and night).
When I eventually introduced sleep training and stayed consistent,
everything began to shift. I grew stronger, more confident, and more in
control. My baby became calmer, more settled, and able to sleep
independently. It was life-changing — and it inspired me to help other
parents feel that same sense of relief and empowerment.
Alongside my personal experience, I bring a strong professional
background in child development and education. I studied Psychology at
university, giving me a solid foundation in understanding key
developmental milestones. I then trained as a primary school teacher,
where I developed a real appreciation for how children think, learn,
and explore the world around them.
For the past 18 years, I have worked as a Special Educational Needs
Coordinator (SENCo), supporting children with additional needs and
working closely with parents navigating often complex and emotional
journeys. This role has shaped my belief in the importance of
partnership — working together with families to achieve the best
outcomes for their children.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: helping children and
parents thrive. I truly believe that good quality sleep is the
foundation for this. When children are well-rested, they are calmer,
more regulated, and better able to learn and grow. And when parents are
rested, they feel more confident, patient, and able to enjoy family
life.
